Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus Compact 9mm 4.25" Bull Bbl OR DS Black DLC

The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus Compact is a double-stack, 1911-pattern semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. This configuration, manufacturer model AA39X1CMD-PDBK19, features a 4.25-inch bull-profile ramped barrel, steel slide and frame, and polished black DLC finish. Its traditional 1911-style controls are paired with a modern double-stack grip module, optics-ready slide, and full-length accessory rail.

The Romulus is built around the familiar single-action, hammer-fired operating system of the 1911 platform. Its design incorporates an extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, exposed hammer, and skeletonized trigger. The polymer grip module features distinctive geometric texturing, while the frontstrap and extended magazine well incorporate additional surface detailing. Together, these elements give the pistol a recognizable contemporary double-stack 1911 configuration.

The 4.25-inch bull barrel is manufactured from 416R stainless steel and uses conventional button-cut rifling with a 1:10-inch right-hand twist. The barrel is housed within a stainless steel slide featuring angled front and rear serrations, an enlarged ejection port, and a polished Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) finish. This model uses a non-threaded bull-barrel configuration rather than the threaded or compensated barrels offered on other Romulus variants.

An RMSc-pattern optics cut is incorporated into the slide, which is also equipped with raised night sights. The supplied reference photograph shows the serrated slide, rear optic-cover area, ambidextrous safety arrangement, textured grip panels, and extended magazine well. The frame also includes a Picatinny-style accessory rail beneath the dust cover.

The Romulus Compact belongs to Alpha Foxtrot's AF1911 family and is distinguished from the full-size configurations by its shorter slide and barrel assembly. This model has a polished black appearance, with matching dark-finished controls, grip panels, and extended magazine baseplate.
